Review-

One of the best romances I’ve ever read! Mary Balogh has been a favourite of mine for a while but with this book, she’s guaranteed to stay in my top 3 Regency romance authors! I loved this book so much! It was simply wonderful and unforgettable! The beginning was very harsh and unexpected but Mary Balogh really makes up for it! It was romantic and just plain wonderful watching these two fall in love!

I think this is also the first romance I actually cried real tears at! I’ve read a couple others where my eyes sort of started tearing but this one made the tears really run! This is such a beautiful, emotionally complex and well-written story! A must read!

Sensuality: Warm

Verdict: Absolutely not to be missed!!! Completely brilliant and emotionally complex

Rating: 5 stars out of 5

  1. You should read Judith McNaught’s historical romances set in the Regency era. Her books always make me bawl like a baby.

    • Wow, thanks for the recommendation! I’ll be sure to have a look at them!
