Preview of Lecia Cornwall’s new novel…

So by now you’ve probably read Secrets of a Proper Countess (in fact, the only reason I haven’t is cause the mail here is atrociously slow and I’m still waiting on it) and you no doubt are craving for more!

Well here’s the latest scoop on her newest novel, out next year in January! *Applause*

TITLE: THE PRICE OF TEMPTATION

RELEASE: JANUARY 2012

PUBLISHER: AVON

SUMMARY:

In Secrets of a Proper Countess, Lady Evelyn Renshaw is a minor character (she’s the hostess of the masquerade ball where Isobel and Phineas meet), but her husband is the villain.

In The Price of Tempation, Lady Evelyn isn’t sure if she’s the traitor’s wife or widow. Her husband has been missing for months, and everyone, including Evelyn, wants to know where he is. The Crown wants to hang him, the ton wants fresh gossip, and Lord Philip Renshaw’s enemies want Evelyn to pay the price for her husband’s treachery. As the watchers and assassins close in, Evelyn needs a hero. Badly.

Captain Sinjon Rutherford needs a place to hide while he proves himself innocent of some very serious charges against him. Where better to hide than in plain sight? Disguised as Evelyn’s new footman, he’s supposed to be searching for clues to her husband’s whereabouts, but he discovers that the traitor’s wife has some very deep secrets of her own, the kind of secrets that could get a man killed.

LOOK OUT FOR AN EXCERPT COMING SOON 😉

  1. Hey Girl 🙂

Just read it this weekend and it’s quite good for a first novel. BTW: Have you noticed a trend here? The last three novels I’ve read, our Heroes were spies…

    • Ooo, interesting turn of events 😀 Seems like now, more heroes tend to be ordinary men with more exciting jobs! There are far too many earls and dukes out there 😉
