Tis the Season to be jolly (and read loads of romance novels)

Christmas has just passed and now it’s time to look forward to the new year! I don’t know about you but I’m glad that I’m currently on a longgg 3 week holiday and can have all the time in the world to catch up on some good romances!

I’ve decided I’m going to be a blogger so this is my first post! Originally, I planned this website for reviews only before realizing how dry it was. I had wanted to do a blog before and had actually started one but for whatever reason, I stopped and it faded away. Recently, I saw the movie Julie and Julia and that really inspired me to try again. Not that I expect my blog to change the world or anything major, but you never know… This is also a way for me to do two in one at the same time! A blog and a review site about the thing I’m passionate about-romance novel reading!

Right well, like I said before, I’m on holiday which means I get lots of time to read romances and review them. I know i’ve been lax recently with the reviews, (ok VERY lax) and the reviews I have now will probably make any one coming to the site think, “Addict? More like addicted to pretending to be addicted!” Or on second thought, it may seem like a good reflection on me as in “She barely updates her site because she’s too busy being addicted!” 😉

Ah, enough of that. What I was trying to say was that I will be updating my reviews more during this holiday so that it can be a site worth coming to! (Though of course, naturally, you’ll already want to come on for my entertaining blog posts :P)

I’m currently reading Mary Balogh’s reissued edition of A Precious Jewel which is great! I can’t wait to review this wonderful book! I’ve seriously been stuck to it all day, and it’s been a while since a romance has totally hooked me like that! I know I should be worrying about homework and all but I really can’t be bothered at this stage. The last week of school was complete hell because of the last minute lab we had to finiah for bio, the term report card and the dreaded TOK presentation which is the bane of every IB student no doubt. On top of that, I ended up failing and am suposed to start thinking of a new topic. Sigh*** This is where a romance comes in handy-or rather 7 of them! (Number of books on my TBR pile)

Also been busy watching movies lately at the cinema. I saw Avatar (and am now harbouring a huge crush on the lead actor, Sam Worthington) and Sherlock Holmes (Can’t resist a Victorian set movie! Plus, Jude Law and Rachel McAdams are in it and they are both gorgeous!) recently and am planning to see Did You Hear About The Morgans tomorrow. Hugh Grant is in it and as a lover of all things British, I can’t resist! I loved the first two, I’m betting I’ll love this one as well!

Well I think that it’s it for my opening post! Check back here for more in the upcoming days and weeks. I can’t promise I’ll post everyday or anything but expect at least one every week when I get back to school (Jan 11th) and at least a few every week till then!

Signing off!

Mood: Happy and looking forward to tomorrow!
